Original early/mid-1890s cabinet card photo, two men in uniform posing with a basketball, taken by Rockville, Connecticut photographer Newell. Hartford actually had a basketball team at this time.. I found a newspaper article saying they beat Meridian 14-1 in January, 1895. The photo album this cabinet card was originally in had many Hartford, Connecticut photos.. The dimensions of the entire piece is 6. 5″ x 4.25″. The back is blank. Image is in very good to excellent antique condition.
