Antique Seringragh 1880s OF PHAROAHS HORSES. 1860 RARE SERIGRAPH PHARAOHS. This is a very old color is gorgeous. 1800s Pharaoh’s Horses by John Frederick Herring Sr 1795 – 1865 was an Animal Painter to Duchess of Kent and Queen Victoria. Size of the print: 20″ X 15 3/4″. This is one of the best I have ever owned no holes. Each one of these prints are different in different ways. Some more blue or green. This serigraph is in need of has one water spot on white horse few frayed ends. Serigraphy, also known as silk screening, screen printing or serigraph printing, is a stencil-based printing process in which ink is forced through a fine screen onto the paper beneath. Screens were originally made of silk. The single most distinctions to the other color images of the Pharaoh’s Horses found on the Internet can be seen where the water meets the horizon to the left of the horse in the back. The water next and below to the horses nostrils is painted with ripples, and the place where the ocean meets the sky to the left of the horse’s nostrils shows a “refined transition process” of the sun rising into the dark purple blue sky. This serigraph in this listing seems to be coated with a silver substance, and this effect can only be seen when held up to the sun. Gives it a shimmer. The number on this print is 1345. PICTURE AND GLASS ARE ORIGINAL FRAME. Not do it justice. This item is in the category “Collectibles\Photographic Images\Photographs”.
