For sale is an original antique photo that shows a large group of people inside a church. After doing Internet research and speaking with the previous owner, I believe the photo was taken at the First Christian Church in Mount Carmel, Illinois, in the late 19-teens or early’20s. This might have been a revival or some sort of regional convention, as many banners hang from the balcony. The one on the far right says Men’s Bible Class of Springfield, Missouri. I also can see banners from Buckley, West Virginia, and Blackwell, Oklahoma. The name of the photographer – Badger of Mt. Carmel – is stamped on the lower right corner of the cardboard backing. The image measures 7 1/2 by 10 inches; the mat is 11 1/2 by 13 1/2. This historically- significant item is in very good condition.
