A REALLY FANTASTIC CUSTOM MADE JEWEL & THE PERFECT GIFT! This locket probably dates from C1830s. This locket may have started life to be fitted to an Albert / Albertina chain, but has a hook for the fitment of a chain. It is very fine quality and is complete with the original gold color photo place holders and interior glazing which may or may not be original. The locket is richly chased and engraved and has a lovely stylized hanging bale. It is not marked for gold content but tests as at least 14ct gold and is warranted as such. The polished carnelian stone is undamaged. Is a super item and measures 1.25 in total length and is 0.75 wide. The carnelian stone is 0.5 square. The inner photo place holders are approx. The total weight is 5.59 grams. This item is in antique condition 1/2. There is no damage to. The stone and the metal work shows only minor age related wear.
