Extremely Rare French Art Nouveau Deco 18K Gold Dual Sided Square Cristal Glass Photo Locket Fully hallmarked (6th 7th & 8th images), partial eagle head mark (6th image) for 18K of French origin and partial makers mark (7th & 8th images) on the attachment loop between locket and bale. Weighs approximately 3.4 grams. Each side of the square frame is approximately 2.05 cm (13/16 of an inch) in length. The total height including attachment loop but excluding bale is 3.3 cm (1 4.5/16 of an inch), and the width of the frame is approximately 2.75 cm (1 1/16 inches), furthest diagonal corners of the frame. The 18K gold frame has the strength through unity motif, which was a very popular theme in France circa 1900, very romantic. Overall beautiful condition as illustrated in the images, how-ever the corners of the crystal glass squares have abrasions which are not visible due to the overlapping 18K gold frame, but the visible portions of the crystal glass are crystal clean with no with no damages or scratches, very good for its age!
