1 of a number of items from the George Gulliver estate… He was First Whip and later Huntsman with the Bramham Moor Hunt and he was great freinds with Henry George Charles Lascelles, 6th Earl of Harewood who married Princess Mary Royal and Countess of Harewood. Princess Mary was the only daughter of King George V. They lived at Goldsborough Hall for a while but then moved into the Lascelles family home of Harewood House in 1929. Some UNIQUE items from this collection which you will not find anywhere else but here all related to Princess Mary Royal and Lascelles. Here is an antique original photograph. Of Princess Mary’s Wedding day to Lascelle, Earl of Harewood. The couple are stood in the centre with her bridesmaids sat around them and Prince Henry. A very young The Queen Mother can be seen on the back row next to Lascelle. The bottom of the photo is signed by Lacselle & Mary and dated 28th Feb 1922. Photographer’s name is Vandyk, London which is embossed to the bottom left as you look at the photo. It is in good overall condition with some signs of age and use wear. The photo is undamaged but it is framed. The frame is undamaged. The frame has the maker – retailers name on the back easel Walter Jones of London. The frame is 10 and 1/2 inches x 9 inches. The actual photograph is 7 and 3/4 inch x 6 and 1/2 inch. This will have been George Gullivers house for many years, its in mine now and could be in yours very soon.
