Our photographer photographed the Phillies for several years. We have quite a few from 1951 to 1953. Here you are getting 7 photographs all which measure about 3 1/2 x 5 with the negatives that accompany them. The negatives are slightly larger. The original package here is included. After cleaning out the residence & studio in 2014, we have been sorting through over 100,000 photographs for the last 10 years, and are finally offering some of the best ones up for sale individually. We hope to Bring recognition to his life’s work as well as to find homes for the history of an entire city as documented by the city photographer. The photographs include everything you would’ve expected a city photographer to have been present for, from weddings, to new construction, aerial photographs, sporting events, school events, press photography, police, Jaycees, and a really nice, but VERY LIMITED collection of nude photographs from a nudist camp that was in operation here in the 40s & 50s. Even more limited, there were a handful of war photographs and film that we were able to save. This is quite a project for only two curators, so please follow us, and be patient as we slowly unveil the contents of this massive estate.
