A beautiful collection of 18 vintage oversize (10.5×13) print depicting Armistice Day (what would later become Remembrance Day in the Commonwealth and Veteran’s Day in the United States) in the United Kingdom. Includes two longer (19) images made of two prints taped together on back. These wide shots, and their large format, do well to capture the grandeur of the celebration. Many prominently feature the Cenotaph, originally built to honor WWI casualties, and re-dedicated in 1946 to include those slain in WWII. Prints are largely in good condition foe their age, though some have edge wear and small tears.
