Vintage black and white photograph of the Parshwanath Jain Temple, Kolkata (Calcutta), India, Built by Rai Badridas Bahadoor Mookim in 1867 and the surrounding Gardens now known as Badridas Garden. Beautifully matted and framed. Embellishment of gold gilding on corners of framing. I haven’t opened the frame so I can’t tell you if there are any indications of where the photo came from… If it was printed in a book… I don’t who the photographer was. Photograph is mounted to a backing board. The tag on back of the frame notes acid free. Outside of frame measures 22 1/8 inches x 16 1/8 inches, matt opening is 11 1/8 inches x 9 1/8 inches. A scratch on frame shows in 4th photo. There is a spot on the photograph in upper left corner. From the estate of a prominent Bucks County, Pennsylvania, Interior Designer.
