Very Rare Vintage/Antique Mounted Photo. Sydney Harbour Bridge South Abutment. Large format 39.5 x 29.5cm. Iconic Australian Photographic Images. Circa 1920s – 1930s. I have five of these original photographs; they are photos of the era, all taken in the 1920s – 30s. All are mounted on board and all are the same size give or take. Three are of the Sydney Harbour Bridge Construction. One is of Bondi Lifesavers. One is of William Street, Darlinghurst. Unfortunately photographer(‘s) unknown but Harold Cazneaux springs to mind, and perhaps Henri Mallard. This photo shows the Sydney Harbour Bridge Southern Abutment with Crane, Ramp and beginning of Arch. It is not dated but I would estimate late 1928 to early 1929. Size of photograph 15 1/2in. X 11 5/8in (39.5cm x 29.5cm). Size of Mount 22in x 18in (56cm x 46cm). It is numbered to the back. In original used condition and showing lots of wear consistent with age and use.
