Here is a lovely large Antique Eastlake Ebony picture frame. The black wood frame measures 27-1/2 long and 10-1/2 wide. The glass picture area measures 20-1/2 x 8-1/4 and the depth of the frame from front to back is 1. The intricate carving on the frame is a wonderful example of the Victorian era and the frame will display nicely. Im not sure, but the glass may be glued into the frame on the bottom, but I did not attempt to remove it because I didnt want to take a chance of breaking the frame. There is also a small crack in the glass on the bottom left-hand corner (look closely at photos). It appears that the picture in the frame may have been Victorian wall paper at one time and has several tears on the edges. Even so, it displays beautifully. I also have other Eastlake frames that you may want to add to your collection along with other antique items.
