This fabulous old British wooden picture frame, circa early to early mid 1900’s, has beautiful Baroque styling with moulded detailing to the corners and centres with a pronounced lip running along the outer border and lighter detail to the inner borders, all finished in a fabulous deep. It also has an inner frame which you can remove if required. It has aged naturally and very beautifully with some gorgeous patina, marks and damage in places nothing at all excessive and all adding to the incredible character and charm. It also comes with some wonderful provenance in the form of the title of the original painting it would have held on one of the the longer borders (please see the penultimate photograph in the gallery).
