This exceptionally beautiful old wooden picture frame is very chunky and equally ornate with moulded detailing to the corners and centres, a pronounced lip running along the outer border and lighter detailing to the inner borders, all finished in a fabulous, aged gold gilt. It also comes with its slips / inner frame which you can use or not according to your own preferences. This is a vintage frame, somewhere around 40 – 50 or so years old, made in a classic antique Baroque style. It has aged naturally and very beautifully with some marks, gorgeous patina and light damage in places, nothing at all excessive and all very much adding to the character and charm.
