Offered today is a BIG (measuring 1.75 from top of bail to bottom) beautiful antique 1800s Victorian 14k yellow gold seed pearl locket pendant, with a pair of old black and white photos of a man and a woman, inside the locket, under protective laminate. The side with the man’s photo has a gold border which can be pried out of the locket to change the photo. The woman’s side is missing the border, but the protective covering is still there and is easily removable. The photos are old, but definitely NOT as old as the locket itself. The front has raised Etruscan gold scrolling with a curve of tiny seed pearls in the center. It has a HUGE bail into which you could fit just about any chain or omega collar. I’ve shown it on a thick rope chain in the photos, for size perspective. CHAIN IN PHOTOS IS NOT INCLUDED. Although there are no visible hallmarks, the locket has been thoroughly tested and it tests positive for 14k gold, guaranteed. It measures 1.75″ top to bottom INCLUDING THE BAIL, by 1″ side to side. It is 1/4 deep (thick). It weighs a hefty 14.8 grams, and is in very good vintage condition, especially considering the age.
